Karlos Nasar sets a 12kg unofficial world record, Olivia Reeves smashes records in four categories, and Jang Jeon-hak attempts a 200kg snatch.

OLIVIA REEVES | SURPASSES RECORDS IN FOUR CATEGORIES

  • Olivia Reeves (USA -71kg) snatched 120kg/264lb and clean and jerked 151kg/332lb at the 2024 USAW National Champs.
  • Not only are they -71kg national records, they also surpass the national records in the heavier -76kg, -81kg and -87kg classes.

 

  

JANG YEON-HAK | 200KG ATTEMPT AT -102KG

  • Jang Yeon-hak (KOR -102kg) snatched 190kg off the blocks, making it look so good that he even took an attempt at 200kg which was unsuccessful. 

 

 

KARLOS NASAR +12KG WORLD RECORD

  • Karlos Nasar (BUL -89kg) hit unofficial world records in the snatch (183kg/402lb), clean and jerk (225kg/495lb), and total (408kg) by 1kg, 2kg, and 12kg respectively.
  • Karlos also took an attempt at 230kg which he managed to clean but was unsuccessful in the jerk. This is the second time we've seen him try this lift.
