In Norway, a new era of weightlifting begins. Paris is in our rearview. The road to Los Angeles 2028 “starts” in Forde, where the biggest yearly event in our sport, the World Weightlifting Championships, runs from Oct. 2 to 11.

  • One Big Thing: The 2025 WWC isn't an official qualifier for the next Olympic Games, but it will show us where top athletes have decided to put down flags in the sport's new weight classes.

How to watch: As usual, you can catch all the action on WLHOUSE TV, including expert commentary and plenty of extra content!

The best part: Newsletter subscribers can enter for a chance to see it all free of charge. Each week from now until October, we’re giving away 10 VIP passes to watch every session without spending a dime.

You can enter once a week, from now until the end of the month. If you’re selected, we’ll email you an access code a few days before the event kicks off.
