I am used to the Ironmind sew-easy straps. These are very different from those. The width of the portion of the straps in contact with the bar did not provide a secure grip in my opinion. Also, I wish the leather didn't have a suede-like feel, as this also may have contributed to the unsecure feel.

I bought the lilac straps for my buddy and he absolutely loves them! Theys are very easy to put on and slide off the bar with ease. The colour options are also fantastic!

I purchased the mint straps for myself and I am very happy with them. At first I thought the straps were really big since they kind of just dangle off of your wrists but I've learned to love that because it makes putting them in and taking them off very easy. It also makes it very easy to tighten and loosen to your liking. A big thing for me with these straps vs regular ones is that they don't feel bulky in the hands when you are strapped into the bar, it just feels even. The only word of caution I have about these is on my first wear they were a little flaky but like with all leather products, you just have to break them in!

I had the canvas version previously, but had to upgrade to these as learher has a better grip. And boy do they ever, 5/5 product
