- Dinh Thi Pham (VIE): 153 (68/85)

- Rosegie Ramos (PHI): 197 (90/107)
- Xiang Linxiang (CHN): 189 (86/103)
Recap
A particularly stern jury decision to overturn a good snatch by Fang Wan-Ling (TPE) due to slight movement in the elbow set her back enough to bump her out of medal contention in the total.
She was then injured on her second clean & jerk, collapsing on stage. Fang returned to try again, but collapsed, requiring assistance off the platform.
Teammate Lin Chen-Jing took a nasty spill as well, fumbling across the platform trying to save her final jerk at 104 after being struck dizzy by her second attempt.

The Women's 64-kilogram event had the tidiest podiums of the competition; three same three medalists in the snatch, clean & jerk, and total.
Though she missed the podium, Seram Devi (IND) placed an impressive fourth in her international debut.
71KG
- Song Kuk-Hyang (PRK): 276 (121/155)
- Yang Qiuxia (CHN): 262 (122/140)
- Kristel Macrohon (PHI): 236 (105/131)
Recap

Song Kuk-Hyang (PRK) set new records in the clean & jerk and total.

87KG
- Tian Dongping (CHN): 259 (118/141)
- Jiang Yujia (CHN): 253 (113/140)

- Wang Hoo (CHN): 305 (142/163)

- Zheng Xinhao (CHN): 317 (147/170)
- Bae Moonsu (KOR): 306 (132/174)
Recap
Aznil Bin Muhamad (MAS) bombed out during the snatch portion while Bae Moonsu (KOR), who took fourth despite being eight kilograms behind bronze medalist Khusinboy Matrasulov (UZB), would leapfrog the field into gold in the clean & jerks and finish third overall, injuring his elbow in the process.
Zheng Xinhao (CHN) forfeited the overall gold medal by making only one clean & jerk, six kilograms lighter than his World Championships opening lift last year.
73KG

- Wu Haifeng (CHN): 334 (145/189)
- Petr Krebtov (KAZ): 333 (146/187)

In his Senior debut, Abdulaziz Alimjanov (UZB) made a big attempt for a clean & jerk medal but severely injured his elbow, leaving the stage howling. Abdullah hit a new clean & jerk world record at 205 after following himself twice.
Despite being in the start book, Lee Sangyeon (KOR) did not compete at this event.
81KG

- Rizki Juniansyah (INA): 358 (161/197)
- Son Hyeonho (KOR): 357 (157/200)
Recap

Rizki Juniansyah (INA) made 197 on his second attempt, but the bar peeled the skin off his thumb. He was in too much pain to clean his third attempt at 202 to retake the lead from Luo Chongyang (CHN).
89KG
- Ro Kang Kwol (PRK): 380 (168/212)
- Li Dayin (CHN): 379 (176/203)
- Pan Yunhua (CHN): 372 (163/209)

Amur Al-Khanjari (OMA) and Md Shakayet Pranko (BAN) bombed out in the snatches, while Yu Dongju (KOR) failed all his clean & jerks. Li failed 210 twice in a row after making his opener and was seen nursing a lower back injury backstage.

- Alireza Moeini Sedeh (IRI): 383 (180/203)

102KG
- Liu Huanhua (CHN): 410 (180/230)
- Artyom Antropov (KAZ): 386 (165/221)
- Davranbek Hasanbayev (TKM): 377 (182/195)
Recap
Shahzadbek Matyakubov (TKM) did not lift on stage. But he didn't withdraw either, instead opting to run out the clock on his snatch attempts to provide more rest time for his teammate Davranbek Hasanbayev (TKM). Hasanbayev took the gold medal in the snatches.
Chen Po-Jen (TPE) bombed out in the snatches, while Artyom Antropov (KAZ) missed his opener and third attempts.
Antropov attempted a 233-kilogram world record clean & jerk on his second and third attempts, missing due to dizziness and lack of rest. Liu Huanhua (CHN) tried 234 on his final attempt, but couldn't clean it.
109KG
- Akbar Djuraev (UZB): 406 (183/223)
- Sharofiddin Amriddinov (UZB): 395 (181/214)
- Jang Yeonhak (KOR): 390 (178/212)
Recap
Things got a bit silly in the last few lifts of the 109-kilogram session, when after missing his final clean & jerk at 218, Jang Yeonhak (KOR) literally ran off the platform and back to the warm-up area to dramatically "faint" on the floor.
Akbar Djuraev (UZB) looked tired after his second attempt at 223 to confirm his gold medal. He declined his third.
+109KG
- Ayat Sharifikelarijani (IRI): 422 (195/227)
- Hwang Wooman (KOR): 421 (196/225)
- Lee Yangjae (KOR): 396 (176/220)
